She founded In The Public Eye Coaching with a background as the first Black woman Technical Director for CBS Evening News and Face the Nation, she has held senior production roles at NPR, PBS, and C-SPAN. Joia has coached numerous TEDx Talks, delivered Congressional testimony, and shaped communication strategies for notable figures and organizations. She also hosts the podcast "Unshackled Leadership: A Lantern for Black Women."
